The Salam Mosque welcomes worshippers for the five daily prayers and Friday prayer. It takes on particular importance during the month of Ramadan, with the nightly Tarawih prayers and iftar gatherings, as well as during the celebrations of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.
Suresnes and its Muslim community
Suresnes is a Hauts-de-Seine commune of around fifty thousand inhabitants, immediately west of Paris, opposite the Bois de Boulogne. The local Muslim community is present and diverse, with North African, West African and Turkish roots. Access and transport

Suresnes-Mont-Valérien station, on Transilien line L from Saint-Lazare, connects the town to Paris in about ten minutes. RER A is accessible in a few minutes at La Défense. An urban bus network completes coverage.
Advice for visitors
As in any place of worship, appropriate dress is expected, and shoes must be removed before entering the prayer hall. Friday prayer and major religious holidays attract large crowds; arriving early is recommended.
