Map data
The places shown come from OpenStreetMap. This data is made available by OpenStreetMap contributors under the ODbL licence. Map tiles are served by the OpenStreetMap tile servers, which means your IP address is sent to the OpenStreetMap Foundation when the map loads.
Place search relies on the Photon (komoot) and Nominatim (OpenStreetMap Foundation) geocoding services. The text you type in the search bar is sent to them, along with your IP address. If you use the "Use my location" button, your approximate coordinates are also sent so results can be sorted by distance. That feature never runs without the explicit permission your browser asks you for.
Personal data

No account is required to use the site and it contains no data collection form. The only data processed relates to audience measurement, described below.
- Purpose: measuring site traffic and understanding how the site is used, in order to improve it.
- Legal basis: your consent (GDPR article 6.1.a), collected through the consent banner and revocable at any time.
- Recipient: Google Ireland Limited, acting as processor, for the Google Analytics 4 service (property G-5037C47NH8).
- Transfers outside the European Union: data may be transferred to the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC is certified, together with the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
- Retention: up to 14 months for traffic data, 13 months for the corresponding cookies.
Until you accept audience measurement, no analytics cookie is set and no persistent identifier is attached to your visit.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability. To exercise them, write to contact@mosque-finder.com. You can also withdraw your consent at any time through the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page.
If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence.
