Potennerie lies in south-eastern Roubaix, close to the border with Hem. The area is served by several bus lines connecting it to Eurotéléport metro station in Roubaix (line 2). From Lille Flandres, the full journey takes around 25 minutes. By car, access is via the A22 and boulevard de Fourmies.

Potennerie is a mainly residential district made up of social housing, townhouses and green spaces typical of south-eastern Roubaix. The area has been extensively renewed in recent years. Local shops are found at the heart of the district, while central Roubaix, denser in halal shops, is fifteen minutes away by bus.
Practical advice for a visit
The venue mainly serves the neighbourhood community and the atmosphere is family-oriented. A first visit is easier outside Friday noon and outside Ramadan Tarawih night prayers. Shoes come off before entering the prayer hall, clothing should cover shoulders and legs, and women cover their hair. Quiet is expected as soon as you step inside.
