Mosquée al-Fateh is located at 225 avenue Laennec in Hem, in the eastern part of the Métropole Européenne de Lille. It is the main Muslim place of worship in the town and holds the five daily prayers as well as the Friday prayer.
Getting there
Hem is served by several bus lines connecting it to the metro stations of Roubaix (line 2) and Villeneuve-d'Ascq (line 1). The journey to central Lille takes around 25 minutes by public transport. By car, avenue Laennec is reached from the N227 and the A22 motorway.

Avenue Laennec runs through western Hem, a few minutes from the renewed Trois-Baudets housing estate and the detached-house areas. Local shopping is concentrated around avenue de la Marne and the town centre, with several halal shops and grocers within a short walk.

The mosque welcomes residents of Hem as well as worshippers coming from Roubaix, Villeneuve-d'Ascq and Croix. Friday prayer draws a large crowd.
