Getting there
TAG tram line C serves the district via the Grenoble Hôpital Michallon stop, about ten minutes on foot from the mosque. Line A, at Malherbe, is a second option. TAG bus lines C4 and 12 complete the grid towards Saint-Martin-d'Hères and central Grenoble. By car, the southern ring road Grenoble-Est exit is nearby, with on-street parking available in the residential streets.
The neighbourhood
Avenue Jules Vallès structures part of eastern Grenoble, between the Capuche district and La Bajatière. Practical advice for a visit
The hall mainly welcomes worshippers of Turkish origin, with Friday sermons often in Turkish. Attendance is heavy on Friday noon, a first visit runs more smoothly on another day. Shoes come off at the entrance, women cover their hair, clothes should cover shoulders and legs. An area is provided for women. Quiet is expected from the door.
