How to get there
The mosque is accessible via Tram Line T4, which connects Vénissieux to the rest of the metropolitan area. Connections with Metro Line D are available at the Vénissieux station, the terminus of the line. Several bus lines complement the network and make access easy from neighbouring towns such as Saint-Fons and Bron. By car, parking is generally easier than in central Lyon, with spaces available on surrounding streets.
Practical information
Visitors are asked to remove their shoes at the entrance and dress respectfully. The mosque sees high attendance during Friday prayers and throughout the month of Ramadan. Sermons are delivered in Turkish and French. It is advisable to arrive a few minutes before prayer time to settle in comfortably.
