The Niya Mosque of Romainville is a Muslim place of worship located in the northern part of the commune, on the plateau. Its name, meaning "intention" in Arabic, refers to a central notion of Muslim ritual: every act of worship begins with an inwardly formulated intention.

The Niya Mosque welcomes worshippers for the five daily prayers and Friday prayer. It takes on particular importance during the month of Ramadan, with the nightly Tarawih prayers and iftar gatherings, as well as during the celebrations of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. It complements the offer alongside the AFT Mosque, also located in the town.

Romainville is a Seine-Saint-Denis commune of around twenty-eight thousand inhabitants, immediately east of Paris, on the heights of the plateau. Advice for visitors
As in any place of worship, appropriate dress is expected, and shoes must be removed before entering the prayer hall. Friday prayer and major religious holidays attract large crowds; arriving early is recommended.
