Annour Center is located in the east of Mulhouse, on the Coteaux side. It welcomes residents of the district for the five daily prayers and Friday prayer, in a residential area on the eastern side of the city.
Getting there
The Soléa bus lines serving the Coteaux connect to central Mulhouse in about fifteen minutes. The nearest tram stop, on line 1, is a few minutes away by bus. By car, the A36 Mulhouse-Est exit and Avenue de Fribourg lead to the district, with parking available nearby.
The neighbourhood
The Coteaux form a large residential district on the eastern side of Mulhouse, with detached-house estates, a few housing blocks and the neighbouring zoological and botanical gardens. The area combines social housing with more recent detached-house developments, and scattered local shops. Halal butchers and Middle-Eastern grocers are accessible in central Mulhouse and towards the Franklin district.
Practical advice for a visit
The hall is modest in size. Friday noon attendance fills the venue, a first visit runs more smoothly on another day. Shoes come off at the entrance, women cover their hair, clothes should cover shoulders and legs. A separate area is provided for women. Quiet is expected from the door. Practical information is posted on the centre's website.
Other mosques in Mulhouse
A few minutes away by car are As-Salam Mosque and Clémence Center in the Franklin district. En Nasr Mosque serves the Rebberg area to the south, and Koba Mosque is located in Bourtzwiller to the north. For the northern suburbs, Al Houda Mosque in Illzach is reachable in less than ten minutes.
