The An Nour Mosque of Ivry is a Muslim place of worship located in Ivry-sur-Seine, immediately south-east of Paris. It is the main landmark for the Muslim community of the town.

The An Nour Mosque welcomes worshippers for the five daily prayers and Friday prayer. It takes on particular importance during the month of Ramadan, with the nightly Tarawih prayers and iftar gatherings, as well as during the celebrations of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.
Ivry and its Muslim community
Ivry-sur-Seine is a Val-de-Marne commune of around sixty-three thousand inhabitants, immediately south-east of Paris, on the left bank of the Seine. The local Muslim community is large and diverse, with North African, West African and Turkish roots. Several other associative rooms exist in the neighbouring communes of Vitry-sur-Seine, Le Kremlin-Bicêtre and the thirteenth arrondissement of Paris.
Access and transport
Metro line 7 serves the town with the Mairie d'Ivry terminus station, connecting the town centre to Châtelet in about twenty minutes. Ivry-sur-Seine station, on RER C, provides a fast link to the Paris left bank. Tramway T9 crosses the town. A dense urban bus network completes coverage.
Advice for visitors
As in any place of worship, appropriate dress is expected, and shoes must be removed before entering the prayer hall. Friday prayer and major religious holidays attract large crowds; arriving early is recommended.
