The neighbourhood
The Village Olympique was built for the 1968 Winter Games and later converted into a residential neighbourhood. The hall hosts an active community, Friday noon quickly fills the venue, a first visit runs more smoothly on another day. Shoes come off at the entrance, women cover their hair, clothes should cover shoulders and legs. An area is provided for women. Quiet is expected from the door.
